Robert Motherwell (1915-1991), the American painter, was one of the leading exponents of Abstract Expressionism. His works – paintings, collages, drawings and prints – are present in the world’s leading museums.

The Dedalus Foundation has sponsored the catalogue raisonné of his paintings and collages (1941-1991), collating all the known works and describing their characteristics in a detailed manner: title, measurements, provenance, fortune critique and bibliography, creating an organic corpus of his paintings and collages. The text, in three volumes, divides the œuvre into collages, paintings of canvas and panel and paintings on paper and card.

Watch "The Production of ..." video which shows the printing and binding of the catalogue.
